Cure For Droopy Flowers

When those last few roses are feeling droopy
I give them a little support.
All I need is a straw.
A clear one looks best.
Cut a little off the end of the stem
 and remove any leaves.
Slip on the straw up to the head.
Back in fresh water.
Looking perky!

Cheers!

  6. I will be trying this!! We have roses ready to bloom in our garden and I can make some fragrant bouquets!
Last night I came across a plastic pants hanger and snipped it into two chip clips! Such great ideas! Do you stay up at night thinking all these up??

  7. Thanks for the tip. I have one dozen long stemmed red roses (anniversary) sitting on the dining room table and was dreading the droop. Now I can push them along for a few more days.
